Bank of Marin Announces Addition of New Commercial Banking Sales Manager

Deepak Bhakoo to Oversee Commercial Banking Growth Initiatives Across the Bank’s Footprint

Bank of Marin has announced the hiring of Deepak Bhakoo as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Sales Manager. Bhakoo will oversee the Bank’s commercial banking growth initiatives spanning Northern California from the San Francisco Bay Area to Greater Sacramento.

Bhakoo brings nearly 20 years of commercial banking knowledge to the role including depth of lending experience in the Greater Sacramento area. He has a strong track record as a top performer including relevant experience at small community and large regional banks.

Bhakoo actively contributes to the community including serving as Vice President of the Yuba Sutter Indo American Business Association. He is also a loan committee member for the Yuba Sutter Economic Development Corporation and co-instructor of literacy education classes at Sacramento Neighbor Works.

In addition to completing his undergraduate degree at Golden Gate University, Bhakoo is continuing his graduate education with Pacific Coast Graduate Banking School at the University of Washington. He is multilingual with fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
