Leadership, Learning and Legendary Service
A native of Novato, Ashley Robertson is a hometown success story. After starting at Bank of Marin as a teller in 2012, Ashley moved up quickly and is now Assistant Branch Manager at the Grant Avenue office in Novato, something she attributes to “experience, charm and a little luck.” In this role, Ashley is an integral part of the community day-in and day-out. From working with customers, to managing and mentoring her staff, to volunteering extensively to support nonprofit boards and local events, Ashley is a wonderful example of Legendary Service at Bank of Marin.
In addition to her current job at the branch, Ashley is a recent graduate of Leadership Novato, a business leadership program led by the Novato Chamber of Commerce. Ashley was sponsored by Bank of Marin to participate in this intensive 9-month program, and she really made the most of it. “Leadership Novato was a very rewarding experience and I am grateful for the chance to immerse myself in the program and meet so many local professionals. Even though I grew up here, it was eye-opening to learn more about the area we serve, particularly the importance of building a networked, sustainable community.”
Ashley is going back to school again at Santa Rosa Junior College where she is getting a secondary degree in business and marketing. “I consider myself very fortunate to work at a company that invests in employees with a generous tuition assistance program. Bank of Marin’s support allows me to continue my education, which I hope will make me an even better leader for my team – the job I consider my most important at the Bank.”
